It has it's own "holler" (we call it Deer Holler) where the deer hang out constantly. Private and secluded (you can really only see one other house) at the end of a cul-de-sac, it's 1215 square feet of yummy. The house was recently given a facelift - new muted green architectural shingle roof and new skylight, painted inside and out. Serene and powerful, it just pops against the green of the trees. At the heart of the home is a killer pellet stove - that literally will heat the entire house. Hardwood floors, updated kitchen with stainless, three bedrooms (primary is in the loft) and two fulls baths make this a place you can spread out and take in nature. High speed internet via Comcast Xfinity makes it a great place to work remotely. The house has a crawl space great for storing holiday decorations, golf clubs, kayaks etc. It lives mighty and large - great closets, and my oh my... that wall of windows is simply divine. The house is on public water and has a grinder pump into public sewer. Central air and heat and this biggest bestest washer and dryer around! For an extra (roughly) $1500 a year, you can continue the B membership to the gym and the pools. Oh and this is kind of unheard of out here, but you can WALK to the Mountain View Pool, and the Grille to grab some fries or a cocktail. It will cover your costs if you short term rent it - but also perfect for full-time living out here. Owner/agent has lovingly cared for and updated this baby, and now time to hand her off to the next soul that wants to enjoy nature and the solitude of wild, wonderful and wacky West Virginny . We did an inspection and are handling most of the items on there. 10 mins from a CJ's (a cool locals dive, ) Traver's convenience store and the ever-present Dollar Store, 10-15 from the post office, 18 mins from the Martin's supermarket and 25 mins from Martinsburg where you'll find all the conveniences of the city (and some you'e never heard of!!) Farm markets, breweries, distilleries, and the best part.... the coolest most diverse neighborhood around. Come make yourself at home in the Woods. House was airbnb'd off and on, in between our friends and family using it. Last year grossed about $35K. Covered all expenses.
